| What
happens when you combine the knowledge and talents of a local
underground utility contractor with over 30 years of construction
experience with that of a local builder with over 20 years
of combined commercial and residential construction experience?
What happens is the creation of sound, professionally managed
and constructed projects with quality and performance built
in, from below grade to the top of the roof. Chandler/Goldberg,
LLC, with over 50 years of combined construction experience,
functions to develop these projects into reality by providing
project management, development, and general contracting services
in Volusia County and the greater central Florida region.

What
is Possible? |
 At
Chandler/Goldberg, LLC, we believe that DeLand, and the
greater west Volusia County area presents tremendous possibilities
for quality growth and development. We see opportunities
in sustainable, green, energy efficient design and construction
which include the potential for mass transit such as the
proposed commuter rail system. The success and quality of
those developments depends in large part on how they are
created, from design and development, to ground breaking
and construction.
The
potential for successful development doesn't end with the
initial project vision. The design and construction needs
to be well thought out and managed properly. We want our clients
to be assured that with Chandler/Goldberg, LLC, comes the
combined talent and experience in construction management
to deliver value and quality by anticipating and identifying
potential problems and expertly developing solutions. By taking
the time up front to technically work through plans and costs,
we seek to avoid the budget-busting delays and change-orders
that plague so many projects. After all, the best time to
save money on a construction project is during the planning
phase. Hence, we believe in the adage, “plan your work,
and work your plan”. Our clients will feel comfortable
with their relationship with us and know that we can deliver
on time and on budget and that their investment has built-in
value.
Built-in
value today often means building performance into everything
from great architecture to wind-storm and fire resistance
and especially in energy efficiency, air quality, and environmental
impact. Quality design and construction today means being
green and in Florida, green and safe and sound. When Chandler/Goldberg,
LLC, develops and builds, we intend to do it with an eye for
compatible and sustainable architecture and design, thoughtful
of environmental impact, wind-storm resistance, and as energy
efficient as possible. At Chandler/Goldberg, LLC, what we
build will look great on the outside, feel good on the inside,
and operate with lower energy and insurance costs. We will
strive for our clients to believe that it is easy to be green.
We
see excellent possibilities for sustainable designs and development
along the proposed commuter rail corridor from DeLand to Poinciana.
Commuter rail will bring a welcome relief to I-4 congestion
for those who decide to relax and ride the rails to work from
DeLand to the Orlando area. For the tens of thousands who
patronize our special events here in Volusia County, such
as the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts, Speed Weeks, and
Bike Week, riding a train and a shuttle bus to to the events
would be a welcome remedy to the endless traffic jams and
high parking fees. Riders along the rail will need services
from dry-cleaning and coffee shops to offices and residential
housing, particularly at the nodes around rail stops. Thus,
rail stops provide substantial possibilities for mixed-use
commercial buildings along with nearby residential development.
We have the know-how and are available to be actively involved
in creating such possibilities.
From
bike trails to commuter rails, from great places to live and
work, from quality design to safe and efficient structures
within our DeLand community and surrounding Volusia County,
Chandler/Goldberg, LLC, sees opportunities for quality growth
and development. Turning these opportunities into reality
with professional management and built-in value is what Chandler/Goldberg,
LLC, is all about.

Our
Story |
Early
in 2007, Bill Chandler, owner of Florida Contracting Company,

in DeLand for many years and had been working locally in
Volusia county and central Florida for some time.
Both men have sunk roots in the community and are actively
involved in and committed to the DeLand community. They
